Ingredients
- 1.50 slices Lamb Shoulder (cubed)
- 2.00 whole Onion (diced)
- 4.00 liters Garlic (minced)
- 2.00 tablespoons Ginger (minced)
- 3.00 tablespoons Curry Powder
- 2.00 tablespoons Garam Masala
- 1.00 teaspoons Turmeric
- 1.00 teaspoons Cumin
- 1.00 whole Canned Tomatoes (14oz can)
- 0.50 cups Greek Yogurt
- 0.25 cups Cilantro (chopped)
- 2.00 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- Cut lamb shoulder into cubes
- Heat oil and brown lamb in batches, set aside
- Sauté onions until golden, add garlic and ginger
- Add curry powder, garam masala, turmeric, and cumin
- Return lamb to pot with tomatoes and yogurt
- Add water or broth, cover and simmer for 1.5 hours
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan
