Ingredients
- 1.00 slices Chicken Breast (cut into pieces)
- 1.00 whole Onion (diced)
- 4.00 liters Garlic (minced)
- 1.00 whole Red Bell Pepper (diced)
- 2.00 cups White Rice
- 4.00 cups Chicken Broth
- 1.00 whole Canned Tomatoes (14oz can)
- 2.00 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
- 1.00 teaspoons Salt (pinch)
- 0.50 slices Shrimp
- 12.00 whole Mussels
- 0.25 cups Olive Oil
- 1.00 whole Lemon
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large paella pan or skillet
- Brown chicken pieces, then set aside
- Sauté onions, garlic, and bell peppers
- Add rice and stir to coat
- Pour in chicken broth, add tomatoes, paprika, and saffron threads
- Arrange chicken, shrimp, and mussels on top
- Simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes without stirring
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving with lemon wedges
