Ingredients

  • 1.00 cups Rice
  • 1.00 slices Onion (Dice half small onion )
  • 1.00 whole Andouille (1 and 1/2 link )
  • 1.00 slices Butter (3 small slices )

Instructions

  1. Follow package directions for 1 cup Vigo or Saffron rice
  2. Cut andouille sausage in 1/2 inch thick rounds
  3. Dice 1/2 small onion on small pieces
  4. Slice 2-3 small squares of butter
  5. Combine butter, sausage, and onions in a frying pan, stir occasionally while cooking on medium to low heat for 10-15 minutes. Add rice once done, season, stir and simmer for 10 minutes then serve.
